Your muscles do need to rest and it is essential for your muscles to recover from the stress from the previous workout. When you rest, your muscles repair themselves for the next workout session. Having rest helps replenish your energy and let you stay energized while you do the workout. You should not prefer working out every single day of the week. You should prefer having a break at least a day in the week. With a day off, you will allow all your muscles to repair themselves.
