Oiling Your Hair

The very first step involved in your hair care is oiling your hair. There are various types of hair oils available in the market, such as argan oil, walnut oil, almond oil, and various others. You should prefer using oil in a cycle to obtain well nutrition of your hair. You must oil your hair 2-3 times a week. Make sure that while you are applying oil to your hair, you massage your scalp. Your scalp should absorb the oil for better nourishment and development. You can heat an oil little bit before applying to your scalp, heating the oil, and then using it will allow your pores to open and oil to be absorbed by the hairs.

You should oil your hair before your washing your hair. Because oil needs to be removed after you have applied it to your hairs. What I suggest is to apply the oil the night before you wash your hair and leave the oil overnight. What most people do is apply a high amount of oil, which makes it difficult for your hairs to breathe, which results in clogging up your pores. Take some oil and apply it gently to your hair. Even though you are massaging your hair, keep it gentle. You need not be harsh on your hair as it can damage them and cause them to break. 


There are various types of shampoos available in the market, like anti-dandruff shampoo and mild shampoo. Now the point is that you need not rely on only one kind of shampoo. For instance, if you are using anti-dandruff shampoo, then you need not use that every time you can keep a pair of shampoos all of the different types and switch between them. Also, it is very crucial to select the shampoo which suits your hair. What I suggest is going for a mild shampoo with an anti-dandruff shampoo.

What I suggest is using shampoo on a routine. For example, you can use mil shampoo twice or thrice a day and anti-dandruff shampoo only on Sunday. What shampooing does is, it removes oil from your hair. Anti-dandruff shampoo can be harsh for your hairs, and if you use it too much, then it can surely damage your hairs over the long term. Also, you have to make sure that the shampoo you are buying does not have any harsh chemical harm your hair.


Conditioner is different from shampoo. Also, the conditioner does not clean your hair, but it smoothens your hair. Conditioner enhances the look of your hair. However, it is advised not to use conditioner more than twice a week. Over usage of conditioner can make your hair thick. 

Using Hair Products

Hair products have the worst effect on your hair. You should not use many hair products as they make your hair more prone to damage. Hair products tend to make your hair shiny over the short term, but their frequent usage can cause your hairs to break dry out and break. It is suggested not to use too many hair products.

In some cases, you might have to use hair products like wax or gel, but you need to take extra care of your hairs that day, you cannot simply rely on your daily hair care routine. If you have applied hair products, then you need to wash them off before you go to sleep. Rinse your hair and then oil them. Massage your scalp and then wash your hair with shampoo. Also, avoid using a blow dryer, as this is the root cause of split ends.

Drying Your Hair

It is essential to dry your hair when you have washed them. Even if you are not washing your hairs daily with shampoo, you need to wash them with water daily, as this will remove all the dirt that exists on your hairs. Don’t be harsh on your hairs when you dry them. Your hairs are soft when they are wet and vulnerable to break even with a little bit of force applied while drying them. If it’s possible, allow them to dry on their own. You can even use a towel to pat dry them.
