Researchers have an answer to this question as well. The research team at Shinshu University in Japan carefully observed green tea. They found an abundance of Flavonifractor Plautii (FP) bacteria that is found in the gut.
This bacteria is known to be a part of the catechin metabolism present in the intestines. Catechin is an antioxidant. It is found in different kinds of foods and dishes, including green tea.
In Green Tea itself, it comprises about 30 to 42 percent of its dry weight. The researchers also found that oral management of FP helps in suppressing the Th2 immune response to food allergies.
Researchers further reported that the food we eat affects different kinds of bacteria present in the gut. When you drink Green Tea, it increases the amount of FP (Flavonifractor plautii). FP is a very important strain of the Clostridia family of bacteria.
It is also known to have some amazing effects on our body. It helps our body to restrain itself from inflammation and helps in many different ways.
It was also found that some of the strains of Clostridia family of bacteria could lower the blood pressure in the human body. They are mostly found in lean people and are not found in bulky people.
